More than twenty years ago we brought a horse home, she was just a year and a half old. My husband was training horses, and she was one of his students. Because of her color at the time, a blue roan, she became known as “Blue” She was a calm horse from the beginning and was easy to train. Blue is not fast, but she does work cows well, she was ridden for many years on my brother-in-law’s ranch. A very trusted companion she is now back home, but over the years her blue color has given way to white.
