TAAC and “Voices” non-profit group recipient of grant
from Trinidad Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission
for Latin American Cultural Festival!

The “Voices” group that is comprised of various Arts and Cultural nonprofit entities in Trinidad was proud to accept a grant from TAAC on 7/26/16 in support of the proposed Trinidad Latin American Cultural Festival which is scheduled to launch on October 7th and 8th here in Trinidad at Kit Carson Park. This two day Festival will celebrate the Latin American and Meso-American culture of Trinidad and illuminate those aspects that have thrived here. Various educational exhibits and workshops are planned as well as a full day of food, music and dance welcoming international Brazilian and Cubanismo band “Ginga” from Northern Colorado to perform at the bandstand at Kit Carson Park on Saturday October 8th.
Internationally known musician, poet, author and television personality Willie Perdermo will be the keynote speaker at Massari Theater Friday evening, October 7th . A published itinerary, poster, and more fun announcements to follow…
