Kicking everything off was an Adult Spelling Bee held Sunday evening, January 24. The heart of the program is a bingo game, “but not exactly like the one in the church basement. Players pick up a bingo card … which describes twenty-four activities.” When players make a bingo, they earn a ticket to five drawings where prizes include an e-reader, a fitness bracelet, and gift baskets.
And these are just a few examples of the activities planned by Library Director Mallory Pillard and the members of The Friends of the Library committee.
