One Raggio! , Trinidad’s Newest Gallery, features the eclectic and unique images of artist John Raggio, who has been a proud member of the local artist community for the past 18 years. Raggio focuses on wonderful ideas that are designed to stimulate the brain. “Raggio folds an ordinary piece of notebook paper in such a way that he has 16 spaces that he then fills with his many and varied thoughts. The thoughts go into his journal and then some of them are transformed into such artworks as ‘to vent is to reinvent’.” A master of whimsy on a grand scale, Raggio uses UFOs (Unique Found Objects) for his massive sculptures and intriguing wall art. “Boom! Boy Howdy that’s it, just Boom! It’s wonderful when we all wake up to do what gives us pleasure. Are you having fun through your exploration of life,” asks master teacher John Raggio.
Gallery One Raggio! is located at 108 N. Commercial St.
