On Friday, April 28, the City of Trinidad Department of Economic Development officially launched the Main Street Patio Program. This program was designed to increase mobility access along our narrow main street sidewalks, as well as promote and enhance the vibrancy of our downtown. Being installed in three phases, the first patio was installed at Moose’s Martini Bar at the entrance to Trinidad on Main Street. The Main Street Patio Program is a part of the City of Trinidad’s Outdoor Dining Program, recently adopted by the City of Trinidad. “This is great for our downtown and our residents and visitors,” stated Mayor Phil Rico. According to Economic Development Director Jonathan Taylor, “Sitting outside on these patios during a nice summer night, having a beer, glass of wine, or a whiskey, enjoying friends and family, that is what this program is intended to foster and encourage."
